"But What Can I Do?"
This is the most-asked question these days. "I am just one little cog in this huge machine, what power do I have?" The answer: A LOT! Any of the below suggestions will make a difference in this world. Other people will see it and emulate it and share it. And it will grow and grow, replacing the old, obsolete system eventually.
A garden can be as simple as getting a few pots, then plant vegetables that you enjoy. Put them into the full sun, keep them moist and watch them grow. If no outside space is available, get a plant growing light and find a space inside.
Using credit from a big bank exacerbates the old debt-based system that is destroying our world. Get out of it! Spend only what you have. Put aside 10% of any earnings as they come in to create a safety cushion. This will add up faster than you think.
Instead of buying the basics from your supermarket, buy from your local farmers instead. This can be done by going to farmers markets or farms directly. This supplies you with fresh food AND keeps your money in the community.
Spend your money locally with companies you know and trust. This keeps the local economy thriving, and you create a direct connection within your community. Everybody wins!
